Hey dudes. Hope you had an awesome weekend. I somehow managed to avoid almost all of my work, so I’m sure you can imagine how much I’m lovin’ life right now. *foghorn* I’m still excited about my new space, but now totally stressed about the actual move into the space, and my eyes are probably permanently crossed after looking at approximately 500 million sofas on Craigslist. Why are the ugliest things always described as “beautiful”? And why are there so many ugly couches in the world? Here’s a general rule when buying a sofa: avoid those that are so over-stuffed and rounded and brown that they look like actual piles of crap. I mean, come on.
Anyway . . . I had decided on a plain green couch that I could fancy up with trim on the cushions, but now I don’t think that’s going to happen. One of the boring reasons being a terrifyingly large van that I would have to drive myself to some weird western suburb where I would probably live out the rest of my days trapped in some weirdo’s basement. With that couch, my studio would have looked like this:
There are way better couches on Craigslist right now, but I don’t really know what to do with them just yet. Back to the drawing board. *double foghorn*
