Fall 2011 Collection: Camelia Dress

So . . . Friday’s photo shoot was insane.  Like, in the very best way.  So fantastic.  I am dying to show you these pics, dudes – really, really great.  Oh and the shoot took place in our bedroom, so if you’re a creepy weirdo who wonders where I sleep at night, then you are in for a treat.  Before I move on to the accessories though, I want to show you the final dress from the collection.  It’s kind of about as sweet as it gets.

This is the Camelia dress and wearing it is such a dream.  It feels so super feminine and graceful.  I’m totally not making this up either – when I tried on each of the dresses, this one made me look about a million feet tall and super skinny and I could not stop staring at myself.  I mean, it’s pretty hard to go wrong with a tea-length dress all covered in swiss dot and silk chiffon.

It also doesn’t hurt to have a giant petticoat and the softest silk taffeta rustling underneath.  And the cap sleeves.  Dudes.  I really love the simplicity of this dress – accessories will completely transform the overall look, but it’s also just right on its own.  I mean, let’s not mess around, this is the perfect daytime wedding dress.  Can’t you see the sweetest, just-married bride skipping down the steps of the church, skirt billowing around her?  And maybe even pairing it with the daintiest gloves.  I mean, please.  So adorable.

Oh I LUGGED stuff for this shoot – haha! I practically had to move into the hotel to shoot the gowns. The accessories shoot, however, we did at my house – I’ll have pics soon!
